Saving the planet, One bat at a time

aka The Wildlife Conservation Center   |   Hasbrouck Heights, NJ   |  https://www.thebatcave.org

Mission

To ensure the continued education and conservation of one of the earths most vitally important animal, the bat. Educational programs, outreach exhibits and an indoor, educational facility- including a mini zoo to help change the general public's misconception about these long misunderstood mammals. Consulting with film and TV on fact based programming and educational materials. Sanctuary for living zoological specimens. Bats have taken major blows to their reputation, their numbers and to their importance to every environment that they inhabit. They are one of the most prolific predators of nighttime flying insect pests. Bats are also critically important seed dispersers throughout the world's rainforests and also key Pollinators of countless agricultural crops, plants and trees.
