Low cost legal services for elderly and disabled

Advocates for the Elderly and Disabled is a non-profit public interest law firm providing legal services to the most vulnerable, sick, injured, disabled, and elderly. We offer low-cost legal services and advocacy to low-income elderly disabled people and their families.
We offer elder law, family law, consumer and housing protection legal services based on a sliding scale, financial situation, and the complexity of the matter. The rate is determined based on the household income and complexity of your case. We are committed to meeting the need for access to justice for the elderly and disabled people and their families with low and fixed incomes that can't get legal help at legal aid organizations and can't pay the customary fees for the legal services.
The Elder Law Client is eligible for our services if he or she is 60 years of age and has less than $50 K ( can own home) or $100,000 in assets if he or she does not own a home.
The Family, Housing, and Consumer Law Client does not need to meet the age requirements, only financial requirements as above.

If we can help with your legal matter, we will reach out to you to schedule an appointment to obtain additional information, a written retainer agreement, and discuss any other information pertinent to your legal problem.
