Programs and results
What we aim to solve
On Oahu, there is vast overpopulation of community cats and cats that are in need of help. We are actively helping the community cat situation when they are coming in off the streets sick, not doing well, or need to be fixed. We are actively involved in a trap, neuter, return, and management of colonies. We work with veterinarians and other rescue groups on the island to help the cats needing to be rescued.
Our programs

Islands of Hawaii
We do help with education across the islands of Hawaii although our main focus is Oahu. We help educate, rescue, sponsor cats, and build relationships.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
- Educate the people of Oahu about community cats.
- Help people, help cats while maintaining our stances in a positive and professional manner.
- Help fix, adopt, and care for one hundred plus cats a year.
- Build a foster program we can support with out rescues on island.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies are to have structured meetings without rescue groups on the island. As a board, we are trying to increase fundraising efforts, quality of life for animals and the humans that take care of them, and relationships with Veterinarian clinics on the island. We are taking steps with having the central location of holding all of our items that helps us with managing colonies, donation of food and litter, and our financial needs. We are meeting with board members and other groups on coming up with a system on how to best help the island through TNR, education, and donations.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
All of us on the board have built relationships before coming apart of Catopia Hawaii. We have the will and the way to work with other organizations to take steps in education, TNRM, and fundraising for animals and those that take care of them on the Island of Oahu.
