Save Yellowstone's Wolves

In the USA, Life Net does grassroots advocacy to end wolf trophy hunts next to Yellowstone National Park, supports expansion of habitat for wild bison, and fights to keep the grizzly bear on the endangered species list where biology says it should stay.

In Kenya, Life Net Nature supports Maasai conservationists to lead community-based efforts to protect elephants, giraffe, other wildlife, and the Nyekweri Forest. Life Net provides scholarships to young Maasai to study safari guiding and wildlife conservation at the Koyaiki Guiding School. Life Net brings volunteers to Kenya to enhance professional development for Maasai and to help monitor giraffe and other wildlife. Life Net assists Maasai conservationists with developing ecotourism activities such as walking safaris and operation of a small family-friendly tented camp.

In the Andes of Ecuador Life Net Nature manages a 50-hectare tropical montane forest protected area home to an Andean cock-of-the-rock lek, hundreds of endemic birds, more than 25 species of hummingbird, and a variety endangered species: spectacled bear, white-fronted capuchin, and dozens of amphibians. Life Net also supports community-based conservation in the Loma Alta Important Bird Area (IBA) with a focus on improving habitat and monitoring of the endangered Esmeraldas Woodstar hummingbird, several other endangered birds, and 78 endemic bird species. Life Net supports youth development in ecotourism, bird watching and funds the annual Christmas Bird Count at Loma Alta.
