The Mom Kind's mission is to help as many parents as possible and provide a community where parents feel supported and a part of a larger community. We provide education and information to parents of autistic children as well as ongoing educational support for autistic adults.

Special Education Advocacy

The Mom Kind is a 501 nonprofit that provides support for autistic individuals both locally and nationally. Our Special Education Advocacy program works with families of autistic and other neurodiverse students for advocacy and support in school settings. This includes helping navigate 504 plan and IEPs, meetings as a support to the family, assistance in navigating complex systems such as the Department of Mental Health, Social Security, and connecting the child and family to community resources.
