Mission

We work hard to provide a better life for adoptable companion animals without homes and place them in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing an animal into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in loving foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist animals in need without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. To the extent our finances allow, animals in the greatest need take priority.

What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Helping animals who lose their homes due to owner surrender, rescuing from shelters or homelessness in the State of CT - alot of rescues pull animals from down south and transport them to CT only to leave CT animals sitting in shelters and no place to go. We identify animals in need in the State of CT only, transport them to safety, rehab them if needed and place in permanent safe, loving homes.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Foster Program

A program that allows us to put animals in a home environment while they wait for their forever homes, this allows for better adoption rates as animals are acclimated to a home environment and we can learn more about each individual animal.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To focus on the animal population that is in need in the State of Connecticut and to identify those animals and get them into loving, safe permanent homes.

Working with animal control officers in the State as well as other local shelters and rescues, build a foster home system where we can support the number of animals who need a safe space prior to adoption and thorough screenings prior to adoption to ensure a proper, safe, loving home for each animal.

The need is already very apparent and there is no shortage of individuals reaching out with animals who need our help. We are working on building our foster network so we can adequately assist all these animals in need, our President and staff are very passionate about helping animals in need with the highest quality of care and placement.

We currently have 2 cats in our rescue, working on building our foster network as we are a brand new rescue, once we have foster homes we are able to save more animals and get them adopted into loving homes!
