Population(s) Served

We are a veteran nonprofit whose home base is on the frontline of this disaster. We had just run a food drive in the town of Benton, and a food drive in the spring was scheduled for our sister town Mayfield, KY. We know the local officials, have established relationships with local volunteers, and know the immediate and ever-changing needs of the affected Kentucky communities.
We are currently working with an out-of-state company by coordinating their donation to the most needed area and helping facilitate the unloading of these desperately needed supplies. This disaster has affected my hometown and neighbors. We will be the most effective frontline nonprofit to address this tornado disaster and help bring relief. That fall, we answered the call and assisted with the Kentucky flooding disaster. Through these experiences, we coordinated with state police, local firefighters, and larger nonprofits. NOW we have a new way to donate during a catastrophe of Direct Disaster Relief.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

1. Enrich our local community. As the local sponsor of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, we are dedicated to "The Race to 100%" enrollment where all children 0-5 are receiving monthly age-appropriate books.
2. Continue to be of service to our fellow veterans with the promotions of the free National Outdoor Resource Hub.
3. Connect with military families that travel or are overseas that would need to be sponsored for the Imagination Library.

Please email us for complete details.

We have outstanding leadership with a prioritized plan of action.

1. We are spearheading the Race to 100% Enrollment and are one of the fastest-growing chapters for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in the Foundation's history. We are collaborating with other local nonprofits and early reader advocates.
2. We have reached over 100,000 veterans and are rapidly expanding our outreach.
