We are a veteran nonprofit whose home base is on the frontline of this disaster. We had just run a food drive in the town of Benton, and a food drive in the spring was scheduled for our sister town Mayfield, KY. We know the local officials, have established relationships with local volunteers, and know the immediate and ever-changing needs of the affected Kentucky communities.
We are currently working with an out-of-state company by coordinating their donation to the most needed area and helping facilitate the unloading of these desperately needed supplies. This disaster has affected my hometown and neighbors. We will be the most effective frontline nonprofit to address this tornado disaster and help bring relief.
