What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Paid Internship Program (P.I.P.)
This program connects students and adults to tech companies for paid internships.
These are high level internships offering a pathway to generational wealth for Blacks and other people of color.
Good Deeds Program
The Good Deeds Program researches the databases of Central Oregon to find racially biased covenants and offer homeowners the tools to have them removed from their deeds. Ultimately, the goals for the program are to educate the public, and to remove all biased covenants, or offer a solution for those who chose to remove these painful memories of our history. There are 3 major steps to reach our goals for the program.
1. Searching the records and locating racially biased covenants to create the database
2. Contacting homeowners and offering the tools to remove biased covenants
3. Creating a website that offers a map of areas of Central Oregon that biased covenants were found. You can access the Good Deeds Open Link Here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IXZmls7uJvJWaGkUTRXz8wqKGELXb2Jm?usp=sharing
Rural Matched Savings Program
Provides a savings program for adults and students in rural areas. This program allows individuals of color an opportunity to save money at a 5-1 matched ratio and use that money for college, homebuying, vehicle purchase or starting a business and more.
