Mission

ChiArts Foundation supports educational opportunities for and nurtures current, future, and former students of The Chicago High School for the Arts. With more than 60% of recruits beginning at the novice level, with little to no training, students receive 2,5000 hours of pre-professional, tuition-free arts training within their chosen conservatory (Dance, Music, Creative Writing, Theatre, or Visual Arts.) The Foundation and the School are dedicated to developing diverse voices in the arts, and serve students from all 50 wards of Chicago.

ChiArts Arts Conservatory Programming

ChiArts Foundation supports arts education opportunities and develops community partnerships that inspire and nurture current, future, and former students of The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts). Private funds raised by the Foundation’s volunteer board help ChiArts’ students thrive as creators, thinkers, and community members, and their participation in the arts and culture will deeply enrich their lives and society-at-large.
