What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

There are large populations of homeless cats and kittens across the country that are in overcrowded, high kill shelters. Many of these animals are relinquished because owners do not spay/neuter and pregnant cats and or litters are surrendered to these shelters or turned out on the streets, where they are at risk from the environment, and also allowed to continue to reproduce. We take these animals from our partner shelters and keep them in foster homes until they are socialized, healthy, spayed and neutered and adopt them into permanent homes.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Adoption Program

We rescue cats/kittens from private party relinquishments, high risk situations and local and out-of-state organizations into foster homes where they are cared for until adopted.

We address all medical needs including - spay/neuter, vaccines, deworming, microchipping, FELV/FIV testing.

We are committed to finding everyone their best fit for a permanent and loving home through individualized socialization, medical and foster care.

Our goal is to adopt out all cats and kittens taken into our program.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

1.) Rescue cats/kittens from private party relinquishments, high risk situations, and local and out-of-state organizations and place into foster homes where they are cared for until matched with an adopter. (data upcoming)

2.) $20k annual fundraising/campaign goals to cover treatable medical issues. (using GoFundMe, Facebook, Giving Tuesday, Colorado Gives)

3.) Ensure every cat and kitten that we take in is matched with a family that will provide a permanent and loving home.

4.) Cover all medical needs including spay/neuter, vaccines, deworming, and microchipping prior to adoptions.

5.) Support volunteer fosters to provide personalized socialization, medical, and foster care for each cat and kitten.

6.) Continue to maintain responsiveness to inquiries (within 24 hours)

7.) Continue to streamline and refine the adoption process to make it easy and pleasurable for the potential adopters.
