Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
GCI Financial Literacy Program
Gervonni Cares, Inc (GCI) has partnered with the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) to offer a financial literacy program unlike any other. By combining the NFEC digital remote learning platform with our unique ability to inspire people of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds, we create a learning environment where financial literacy and financial stability thrive. Learner (and GCI) objectives are measured by assessment tools, individual growth plans, always with the GCI psychological welfare at the forefront of their financial learning. All classes are online and free, except credit repair and tax preparation classes, which will start charging a fee of seventy-five dollars July 2022. Leaners are provided laptops so they can be successful in our program and upon completion they are able to keep their laptop to perform post-educational learning.
Stuck in the Middle (SIM) Program
Stuck in the Middle (S.I.M) is a philanthropy model program unlike any other. Our program model focuses on the middle America, those who are not rich enough to make ends meet and are not poor enough to receive funding from government agencies. These are hard-working, dedicated, faithful people and families who encounter an unforeseeable, unexpected financial issue and S.I.M. is here to help them remain solvent. These Americans are Stuck in the Middle (S.I.M.) - and they need assistance. Our SIM program is a branch of Gervonni Cares (GC) charitable organization who has identified that the system is broken, and families are falling through the cracks. We are a community action organization who works with families who are homeless, facing utility shut-off, food insecurities and vehicle repair service.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Gervonni Cares and our Stuck in the Middle (SIM) program will collaborate with properly designed financial resources whose mission is to work towards increased financial literacy. These connections will provide a long-lasting financial impact with positive results. Gervonni Cares is empowering our communities through financial education. GCI is combining the NFEC digital remote learning platform with our unique ability to inspire people of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds, we create a learning environment where financial literacy and financial stability thrive. Our goal is to increase financial education in our communities by serving 50 individuals in year 2022.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Gervonni Cares, Inc (GCI) is partnering with the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) to offer a financial literacy program unlike any other. Learner, and GCI objectives are measured by assessment tools, and individual growth plans, always with financial/psychological welfare at the forefront of their learning. We started our Financial Literacy program via Zoom in January 2022. Classes are three months long and Learners are provided laptops to be successful in program. Upon completion, laptops are donated to the Learners by GCI. A lack of financial education can lead to stress, depression, relationship strain, divorce, and other potentially avoidable issues. That’s why systematically disseminating this information is crucial.
