Mission

Our mission is to provide free online reading programs to beginning readers. A sad fact is that many families are not equipped with the skills to teach their children to read. By the time kids get into the first grade, many are already a year behind. A pattern of failure is set in motion, and we know the rest of the story. According to the United Way, 73 percent of Americans believe that children entering kindergarten unprepared to read will catch up in later years. This assumption is false, and in fact, the opposite is true. The statistics and research suggest that out of 50 first-graders who struggle with reading, 44 of them will still be struggling in fourth grade, also according to the United Way. Another study conducted by the Education Statistics Service Institute indicates that by first grade, less than half of students studied understood words in context. The study also shows that children who have competent help with reading in kindergarten read significantly better.

Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

The Free Reading Program

The Free Online Reading Program is an interactive site for beginning readers. The program kicks off with fun picture stories that budding readers listen to. Children then learn letter recognition, phonics and sight words. Next, they read their first Easy Reader book with help, and then they read it on their own. The process keeps repeating, as the Easy Readers gradually become more challenging. After your child reads dozens of Easy Readers, they can take a shot at reading the more challenging Picture Books. Are you excited?

Got Publishing launched the beta version of the free online reading program in March of 2021. Financially challenged parents are searching the internet for help with their struggling children. Reflexively, they often type, “Free Reading Program,” and our site comes up. To our surprise, in these first few months, we see over 10,000 views from over ten countries so far. Donor funds will help spread the word.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

By creating the Free Online Reading Program (www.freereadingprogram.online) we can help enormous amounts of children who need help learning to read. However, think Sesame Street in terms of size and diversity. We will expand in every way possible to spread the benefits of this program.

We are constantly improving our digital presence, with the help of feedback from end users.

We are adding music and video to make learning more fun and effective.

We intend on expanding into physical one on one markets in the future.

Refer to our websites www.gotpublishing.org and www.freereadingprogram.online

The above sites give you a first hand experience of Got Publishing's capabilities. Our leadership is highly experienced with decades of real world experience in reaching tough goals and achieving superior results. We know our limitations and are not afraid to ask for help.

2021 is our official kick off year for Got Publishing. Now that we have accomplished that, our next goal is to spread the word about the program. As we are raising funds for this effort. The Free Reading Program is now live. Parents are searching the internet to find free reading programs to help their children get an equal start along side children of wealth. Financial status is the ultimate discrimination in the world today. At Got Publishing, we don't discriminate. We only ask for your willingness to improve. With that said, the site had over 10,000 hits in its first couple of months. Imagine the impact when we have the financial backing to market the program properly. With the proper backing, the Free Online Reading program will expand exponentially. 2022: Got Publishing becomes a household word and the Free Online Reading Program becomes one of the most used beginning reading platforms around the world.
