Healthcare on the road

Imagine being physically sick and having to walk several miles to receive desperately needed healthcare. For rural settlers in Ghana, this is not unusual. Many sick patients have to travel long distances to receive care in healthcare centers that are usually located in major cities. These sick patients are usually unable to afford accommodation in these major cities and have to resort to sleeping under trees and tents for shelter as they await treatment.

OKB Hope Foundation is working hard to change this and improve the lives of rural settlers. We want to bring healthcare to these patients in their local communities. A medical health van presents the opportunity for us to achieve this. We are very passionate about this as a life lost as a result of delayed medical treatment is one too many.

I am asking you to join us in providing care to 14,000 patients in the next year. We intend to secure and operate a medical health van that brings the care these patients need to their doors
