Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We aim to help reduce the killing of animals in shelters by keeping animals out of shelters in the first place.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We provide grants to animal shelters with programs for: intake diversion; low-cost spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchips; lifesaving shelter/rescue transport; foster/hospice; pet food pantry; community cat TNR; return-to-home (lost pet reunification); creating pet-friendly spaces in domestic violence and homeless shelters; and adoption fee sponsorships.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our capabilities include our own fundraising efforts and our partnerships with several animal shelters.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
*9 families got to keep their pets
*10 dogs received lifesaving transportation to find their furever homes
*3 spay/neuter events prevented countless new homeless animals
*5 animals had their adoption fee covered
*1 hospice kitty lived out her life being loved by the residents of a retirement home
