Every Child Deserves a Loving Home

aka Rasha Mekky   |   San Francisco, CA   |  www.yallakafala.org

Mission

Our mission is advancing quality care for orphans by advocating, educating, and developing resources for growing families. Yalla Kafala is creating a better life for orphans in Egypt by raising awareness and shattering stereotypes about Kafala (guardianship/adoption). We are here to ease and streamline the before and after of the kafala journey for prospective kafala families. We support these families by empowering them with the tools needed to navigate the legal requirements and the life stage of becoming a family; with an ultimate vision to raise healthy, emotionally intelligent humans.

Family relationships

We are finishing our first facility for orphaned and at-risk children that didn't have the privilege of getting adopted.
Our first project is located in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. Will accommodate 6 children. Beit Saghir is the last resort to save these abandoned children and give them a living, warm & caring home.
We offer these children the chance to become game changers in society and to break the stigma of being an orphan in Egypt.
We are investing in these children to give them the quality of life and top education to become future CHANGE MAKERS who will transform Egyptian society.
