Mission

Music Heals Minds provides high quality musical performances to patients living under skilled care. We are committed to easing the journey through serious illness, loss, and trauma recovery. We curate a broad range of music and movement-based content, encompassing all styles and genres, while inviting patients to make requests for their favorite songs and reconnect to memories. Our dedicated artists are trained by Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainers (NCCDP) and can engage patients of all ages with terminal, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses. Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Music Mornings

Alzheimer’s patients who listen to music - especially familiar songs - often experience temporarily reduced anxiety and stress, enhanced self-consciousness, improved cognitive performance, refined verbal and autobiographical memory, and improved overall well being.
We provide a comfortable, consistent, and affordable pathway to these outcomes.

For patients experiencing depression or low self-esteem, Music Heals Minds provides platforms to be seen, heard, and to feel successful at a time in their lives when such feelings may be rare.
