CHARMED & CHOSEN, INC. provides youth and young adults resources, assistance, mentorship, hands on educational experiences, practical life skills, financial fluency, job opportunities, promote positive mindsets, mental wellness and skills needed to thrive in life. CHARMED & CHOSEN, INC. furthers its charitable and educational purposes by hosting college preparation and admission workshop to fulfill the overall mission of CHARMED & CHOSEN, INC. Our events are conducted by community volunteers and paid employees.

STEM into LIFE

Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) into Life is a program designed to encourage students K-12 in low-income communities to take an interest in STEM subjects. Empower youth to become change makers and inspire them to take interest in STEM subjects which will guide them into better career prospects in the future. Learn the various aspects of the program and gain practical soft skills and provide them with a roadmap that will help them navigate challenges and be competitive in the job market in their futures.

General Life Skills: Promote Self-Awareness, Critical & Creative thinking, Decision making, Problem Solving, Effective communication, Empathy, Coping with emotions & stress.

Mentoring: provided for young men and women, boys and girls; fostering an atmosphere that allows youth to be and openly express themselves during group sessions or in private.

CHARMED & CHOSEN focuses on helping our youth with college preparation and Job Opportunities and career selection support and education: improve financial and education outcomes of students across Kern County. Resource areas: Financial literacy, FAFSA, College selection, application, Scholarship, Tutoring, SAT/ACT support. Provide College and Job Preparation resources. Resume preparation, job application completion process, mock interviews, professional attire, to individuals and communities in need.
