What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

We believe that advances in data science and analytics are for everyone. However, we recognize that nonprofits and other organizations may not have the resources to leverage their data and use it to their strategic advantage. We also recognize the need for ethical AI and the capacity of data science to offer solutions to social problems.

Data Services for Nonprofits

The Social Impact Analytics Institute mission includes providing nonprofits assistance in deriving actionable insights from their data. We recognize that stretching donation dollars is more critical than ever - and that data services are often expensive and confusing.

SIAi strives to be part of the social solution by offering these services to nonprofits at a reduced cost:

Goal Setting and Report Preparation
* Assistance establishing and tracking Key Performance Indicators that align with organizational goals
* Customized, interactive, mobile and web-based data visualizations for boards and donors

Fundraising and Marketing
* Infographics for use on websites, social media, and in marketing materials
* A/B testing for improving fundraising performance

Social Media Tracking and Donor Retention
* Social media and online review tracking and analysis
* Donor review and retention
* Creation of data stories to encourage donations

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goals are to:

1. Provide sustainable data analytics and data science services to nonprofits and other organizations.

2. Conduct innovative research into social issues using data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques and developing our own advanced processing tools.

1. We believe in the power of data to answer questions. We encourage curiosity, continuous learning, and diverse and inclusive perspectives among our volunteers and those with whom we associate.
2. We advocate for better data collection, access, analysis, and visualization. Our use of data will help, not hurt.
3. We care about the organizations with whom we work. We are dedicated to helping them share their impact story while saving them time, money, and resources so they can better focus on their core mission.
4. We want to be known for quality work and responsiveness in solving a client’s data needs.
5. Our research in social issues focuses on understanding social problems and determining the best data solutions.

Social Impact Analytics Institute is founded by data scientists, led by data scientists, and has a team of 10+ data scientists, analysts, and other tech experts dedicated to utilizing their skills to promote data science for social good.
