Mobile Wellness Clinics

Each year people in our communities go without getting vaccinated for infectious diseases which causes a lot of preventable deaths and even more hospitalizations. People often do not get their vaccines due to not having access. Reasons for this is lack transportation, lack of insurance, or simply lack of knowledge. Which is why at Love For Lochlin we bring the vaccines to them! We set up mobile wellness clinics in low income and underserved to provide free vaccines, clothing, and sanitization products to the people families in need in our community!
For 2023 we purchased our mobile unit which has allowed us to reach even further into the community, bringing vital resources directly to the people most in need. With this mobile unit we have been able to conduct over 200 well clinics providing more than 2000 vaccines and over $45,000 worth of masks, wipes, disinfectants, and sanitation products. Topping over 500 clinics completed in the past 3 years!

This experience-based learning approach not only enriches the educational journey of the students but also equips them with a profound understanding of the diverse healthcare needs within our community. Simultaneously, our organization benefits from this partnership by enhancing our capacity to provide targeted and essential healthcare services.
