What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to provide spay/neuter education and vet cost assistance to pet owners (when our finances allow), Free vaccines and microchipping community pets to help reunite them if lost. Provide temporary boarding for other local rescues and working with out of state rescues that are accepting of the overflow of unwanted animals in OK.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Offering free vaccine/microchip clinics twice a year for community pets.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
OPCS partners with Greater Good charities and Petfinder Foundation to provide free vaccines to community pets and fundraises to purchase rabies vaccines and microchips for the community clinics.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
OPCS has held 4 successful community vaccine clinics and have provided financial support toward getting community pets spayed/neutered and vaccinated.
