Day Programs for Adults

This program provides individuals with disabilties a place to go during the day.  Here they work on daily living skills, communicatin skills, social skills, cognitive skills, attend classes (music, dance, etc) and go out in the community.

TCH operates 15 group homes which house 2-6 individuals.  There are staff in the homes to support the individuals living there at every level of need.  The individuals are encouraged to assist with all aspects (meal prep, cleaning, etc) of the home.

TCH provides support to individuals in their own home.  This includes attendant care, habilitation, and respite services.  TCH provides this for individuals with disabilities and has recently branched out to assist the elderly.

TCH offers job training, job development, and job support services.  This includes center based employment in our shelterd work shop, group supported employment through enclaves (a job coach and up to 5 individuals) in the community, and community placement.

ASDD Document Destruction is a social enterprise of TCH – The Centers for Habilitation. One of the ways TCH benefits individuals with disabilities is through providing jobs, job coaching and job placement. This is where ASDD Document Destruction comes into play. As a social enterprise of TCH, ASDD encompasses all these roles. Our goal is to assist individuals with disabilities to obtain productive and valuable training and employment. Our clients gain not only a paycheck, but also independence and dignity through their work.
