Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Peer Support Training
Our Peer Support Training program prepares individuals who have experienced substance abuse or mental illness to serve as Peer Support specialists. The course is a 75-hour commitment which includes a two-week internship.
WRAP- Wellness Recovery Action Plan
WRAP is an evidence based recovery program offered by CHEEERS.
Wellness Through Creativity
The Wellness Through Creativity program provides those suffering from behavioral health conditions with an opportunity for creative expression.
Nutrition
CHEEERS' nutrition program encourages participants to engage in healthy lifestyles through evidence-based research in dietetics. Program attendees are encouraged to become licensed food handlers through the state of Arizona. Funds and transportation are provided to those willing to become certified.
