Mission

For more than 30 years, nutrition education has been at our core. Chefs for Kids is on a mission to alleviate malnutrition and hunger in children through education and awareness. Our vision is to have a community of individuals that cares and prioritizes the health habits of younger generations to help us do this. We do this by partnering with nutrition educators, local chefs and companies to deliver Nutrition Education Programs that directly impact a child's understanding of food. Working together, we provide a Healthy Eating Education Program that not only feeds kids, but provides them with the nutrition education building blocks for living a healthier lifestyle. Throughout this time, we have been face to face with more than 200,000 Clark County School District students.

Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen Spoil the Broth.

Not, here. Not with Chefs for Kids. You, our community, are all honorary cooks.

Our team is filled with amazing chefs, educators, volunteers and donors, and organizations all willing to jump in and help cook-up an amazing Chefs for Kids program year after year. Donations support:

Nutrition teachers who educate nearly 3,000 children yearly
Feeding 10,000+ children yearly a warm breakfast
Surprising residents of The Shade Tree Shelter twice a year with a fabulous meal
Providing nearly 200 families around the holidays with a warm meal
