Notes from the nonprofit

Giving back is simply the right thing to do. For the Arizona Diamondbacks, D-backs Give Back is a powerful force for good that guides the entire organization and creates a shared commitment and connection to the impact of philanthropy. In 1997, before the Arizona Diamondbacks ever played a game, the organization established the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation with a clear mission of investing in the community the team would call home. Today, under the leadership of D-backs Managing Partner, Ken Kendrick and President and CEO, Derrick Hall – the D-backs Give Back commitment to social responsibility and philanthropy is leading the league with visionary programs, industry-leading charitable giving and an organization-wide passion for investing in the greater good. In 2020, D-backs Give Back monetary donations will exceed $70 million in charitable giving to local projects, programs and organizations that are supporting our neighbors, local communities and fans.
