Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Arva Yoga aims to offer the therapeutic benefits of yoga- an age-old and low-cost modality of wellness- to one and all! Our way of doing this is to offer free and accessible yoga classes and workshops for people from all walks of life with the goal of spreading awareness of the true meaning of yoga while promoting overall mind-body-spirit wellness.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Weekly Classes
Awaken and rejuvenate with traditional hatha yoga class. A combination of stretching, asanas, pranayama and meditation will get you prepared for your workday ahead with a strong body and calm mind!
The classes will be themed and here is what you can expect - we start with chanting om, then we move to asanas/yoga poses, which typically include Suryanamaskars/Sun Salutations. All sessions will include a combination of pranayamas and shavasan. The pace of the session will be "Goldilocks" intensity- not too slow and not too fast- medium paced!
