Shattering Glass is a 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting for gender equality and gender equity and combatting discrimination and implicit bias. ​We do this through advocacy, education and outreach - presenting the issues women face, the policies that need to change and the proposed solutions.

#ShatteringGlass Movement

Advocacy, education and outreach for gender equity and gender equality - presenting the issues women face, the policies that need to change and the proposed solutions.

Population(s) Served

The majority of Americans believe that women, girls and LGBTQ+ people are guaranteed in our Constitution. Unfortunately, that could not be further from the truth. We need the Equal Rights Amendment ("ERA") to guarantee equality for all.

While the ERA was duly ratified on January 27, 2020, it has yet to be published in our Constitution. Until the ERA is published, we will not be able to stop the the ever-increasing attacks on the rights of women, girls, LGBTQ+ people and our democracy.

Given the inaccurate reporting and the media’s reluctance to cover the issues and/or publish opinion pieces that reflect what is in fact going on, the most pressing issue we currently face is educating the public.

Our #PublishTheERA Campaign is a multifaceted public education campaign - social media, nontraditional media, advertising, etc.
