Mission

Exceptional Families of the Military’s mission is to connect military families with Disabilities, Special Healthcare Needs, or additional educational needs from all branches of the service in order to navigate within the Exceptional Family Member Programs and identify areas of improvement that affect the families we represent. Using the data we collect while simultaneously assisting our families, we endeavor to create long-lasting systematic changes in the laws and regulations that affect EFMP families.

Military Support Groups

We acknowledge that military families move frequently leaving behind their support systems. Our support groups are a place of safety for military families, to ask for advice and support from others living through similar experiences. We currently have support groups for military families stationed across the globe with a loved one with disabilities, special healthcare needs, or aimately dditional educational needs. Our groups serve approximately 10,000 US Military Families.
