Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Winter Classics Music Festival
The Winter Classics Festival is a 10-day chamber music festival featuring performances in Park City and beyond. Guest artists join together in Park City to prepare three to five different concert programs that are presented in public concerts and salon concerts.
Beethoven Festival Park City Summer Season
Beethoven Festival Park City's Summer Season is Utah's oldest classical music festival - a summer chamber music festival presenting public concerts, salon concerts and free chamber music concerts in the park. Outstanding classical solo artists from around the world gather to perform chamber music together in intimate, invited venues and settings. Concerts are free to music students of all ages and tickets are offered at discounts for seniors and students. The summer festival is presented in conjunction with the Beethoven Festival Young Artist Institute, also a program of the Park City Chamber Music Society
Beethoven Festival Autumn Classics
The Autumn Classics Music Festival, begun in 2005, is a chamber music festival presented in Utah during the last part of September and/or early October each year. Concerts typically are presented in Park City, Salt Lake City and Orem and feature outstanding classical solo artists performing together in chamber music concerts. The Autumn Classics Music Festival is a component of the year round Beethoven Festival Park City, also known as the Park City Beethoven Festival - formerly known as the Park City International Music Festival. All events presented collectively are projects of the Park City Chamber Music Society, the parent non profit 501-c-3 arts organization.
Spring Chamber Music Festival
The Spring Chamber Music Festival is presented in collaboration with Utah Valley University with campuses in Orem and Heber, Utah. Guest artists join the UVU Faculty in chamber music performances in Orem, Heber, Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. Chamber music coaching and master classes are conducted at the university and the young artists perform chamber works as part of the festival.
Beethoven Festival Classical Music Outreach
This program, also presented under the name Beethoven Festival, is a collection of concerts, lecture performances, master classes and workshops presented throughout the year. The events are presented in senior care facilities and assisted living facilities for the residents and their families, in schools typically for the music performance students in high schools and junior high schools, and in free performances in libraries.
Beethoven Festival Young Artist Institute
The Beethoven Festival Young Artist Institute is a two-week classical music training program for professional-track young artists ages 14 - 27. Young artists from the U.S. and beyond apply to attend this top level music camp where they are coached in solo and ensemble skills and perform alongside the professional Beethoven Festival artist faculty.
