The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (Eagala) is the leading international nonprofit association for mental health and equine professionals incorporating horses to address mental health and personal development needs. Eagala's growing global network of certified professionals is committed to collaboration and dedicated to the vision of every person around the world having access to life-changing Eagala Model services.

Eagala provides a unique niche for horses. Since no riding is done in the Eagala Model, retiring competitive horses and horses with various ailments can have a home and purpose in healing lives. Eagala provides a wonderful way to help both horses and humans worldwide.

Outreach

Eagala educates the public, mental health community, and agencies/organizations worldwide on the benefits of horses and the Eagala Model standards in healing emotional health issues, such as trauma, addictions, depression, anxiety, family conflict, and abuse. Through this outreach, Eagala works to raise funding to support services being provided by Eagala's certified global network of programs.

Specialized training and designation for certified members in providing culturally aware and relevant Eagala Model services to the military population.
