Mission

The Zambia’s Scholarship Fund provides a unique full circle program that offers educational opportunities to Zambian citizens living in the poorest province of Zambia.
· We provide a monthly salary for elementary school teachers to teach in poor, rural community schools.
· We provide scholarships for needy students to attend high school in the Northern Province.
· We provide scholarships for needy students to attend a two year teachers college in the Northern Province.
· We provide much needed teaching materials and books to trade schools & high schools in N. P.

Notes from the nonprofit

Zambia's Scholarship Fund has an all volunteer based USA staff what that means to you is that one hundred percent of your donation goes directly to your high school student, your college teacher or your adopted elementary school teacher , we don't keep any for ourselves!
All trips to Zambia are paid by the volunteers themselves, all time spent for administration in the USA is non paid.
All items shipped are donated and ZSF pays for the shipping out of shipping donations.
Last year the money we spent on advertizing and administration (We have 3 paid employees in Zambia) was only 2.6% of what we made. (see our annual report) we don't build expensive schools we work directly with existing schools providing those schools teachers and materials.
Many of the schools we support have over 1,800 students in attendance, thus with our little amount raised each year we are impacting thousands!
A little bit goes along way in an area where unemployment is at 92 Percent and life expectancy is at 42
