Her Future is Free Survivor Scholarship

Women and girls are disproportionally affected by modern-day slavery accounting for 99% of victims in the commercial sex industry and 58% in other sectors. (source: ILO Global Estimates 2017)
In 2020, 100% of active criminal buyer defendants in U.S. human trafficking cases were male. (source: The Human Trafficking institute)
The Her Future is Free Scholarship aims to empower women to reach for their dreams with the support needed to achieve them.
We understand school isn't for everyone, and sometimes a woman's dream is to feel safe but lack the means to accomplish that, that's why we are opening up the scholarship to any survivor of human trafficking or sexual exploitation in or out of school.
The scholarship will be sent to the sponsoring organization to help the survivor create a budget to best allocate the funds.
Our goal for 2022 is to award 100 scholarships of $500 each.
