Save the Oceans - Feed the World

aka Sea Life Rescue   |   Fort Lauderdale, FL   |  http://sealiferescue.org

Mission

Over the past 50 years alone, overfishing, pollution and climate change have led to the extinction and near extinction of thousands of aquatic species. All aquatic life is affected. IUCN has identified at least 1400 hundred fin fish species (out of 30k+) at risk. Our ultimate goal is commensurate with the goals of Sustainable Forestry. For every fish taken out of the water, we plan to put back enough fertilized eggs and juveniles to ensure a reversal of that species’ decline while providing much-needed sustenance for aquatic ecosystems.
