Watch Duty

Watch Duty is a non-profit wildfire alerting, mapping, and tracking service operated by experienced fire reporters and many other collaborators who diligently monitor radio scanners and other data sources 24/7. We have created dozens of internal collaboration tools from messaging to alerting systems to be notified of every fire start across the great state of California. At any given time there are a half-dozen reporters monitoring everything. Rest assured that we are always on watch duty and we will keep you up to date when it matters most.
