2022 Mini Grant Program

Our Community Foundation's Mini Grant Program is available throughout 2022 for grants up to $250. Mini grants are available to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, agencies, or organizations that are affiliated with non-taxable organizations i.e., schools, churches, city governments located or serving people in Daviess County Indiana.

Mini-grants are designed to fund projects that are small in scale and meet an unanticipated need or opportunity. With smaller grant amounts and a simple application form, our mini-grants can have a meaningful impact on a broad range of nonprofits.

Mini-grants are available on a rolling basis in amounts up to $250. Our Community Foundation focuses our mini-grant funding on Daviess County. Grantees may apply for a mini-grant at any time throughout the year.

Data
  • We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
Policies and processes
  • We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
  • We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
  • We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
