Inaugural Event: School Supply + Scholastic Books + Adventist Health Health-Wellness materials

Our inaugural event April 2022, provided 45 students, grades K - 12, with a generous bundle of school supplies, 2 scholastic reading books, a bag with a water bottle and bilingual materials promoting healthy eating and lifestyle, and a bilingual handout in encouraging parents to engage with their children through reading and books. Students in grades 8-11 were given information about Shamrock College + Career Planning that offers no-fee college planning services that focuses on first-generation college students. Our participants were all children of farmworkers.
