Mission

Popoki Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of providing a safe, loving, healthy sanctuary for homeless cats on the island of O‘ahu. We envision a world where all cats have a safe place to live their best possible lives while helping to protect our endangered monk seals and ground-nesting birds.

Popoki Place Oahu Cat Sanctuary

We are currently seeking funding and land to build our large-scale sanctuary that will alleviate the free-roaming cat crisis on the island by permanently housing feral cats. By removing them from the beaches, parks and forests, we will be protecting the cats while also protecting cherished endangered native birds and monk seals.
