Eden Village of Tulsa
Making Tulsa a city where no one sleeps outside.
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
The homelessness problem in Tulsa has continued to grow over the past few years, with probably 3,000-4,000 people living without a home. We will be part of the solution, by providing opportunities for our chronically homeless people to live in a home withing a gated and safe community.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Housing and Support for Chronically Homeless
Eden Village of Tulsa develops tiny home communities for people coming out of chronic homelessness. Our first community will consist of 50 tiny homes, a community center, large garden & greenhouses, and green spaces. Residents will need to meet the requirements of being homeless at least one year in the Tulsa area, have sufficient disability income to pay $350/mo. rent, obey civil law, and be a good neighbor. We will surround our residents with staff, volunteers, and professionals from the mental and physical health world, substance abuse counselors, and volunteers from the Christian faith community. Life and job skills will also be a part of our Eden Village programs for our residents.
