Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our mission is the restoration, redevelopment, and preservation of the historic Rogers Theater, designed by Charles C. Benson and built in 1936. The Rogers Theater boasts the only 20th century art-deco interior design in the Uptown Shelby Historic District. .

For the remainder of 2022, we are developing local relationships with historical, art, and cultural organizations in our area in order to host an awareness event that will kickstart the support of the restoration. Regionally, the building is an icon, and the word is starting to spread throughout other areas as well since our reach has increased greatly.

Heading into 2023, we will be focused on obtaining both monetary and in-kind donations to assist in the restoration of the building.

- Development of a functional website that increases transparency and awareness for donors on a larger scale
- Creation of grassroots marketing & fundraising campaigns to increase recurring donations
- Local partnerships within the city|region|state that will facilitate the redevelopment of the building
- Our Grant Subcommittee will be setting everything up for grant applications to enhance our efforts
- Supporting local events to increase awareness and support from the immediate community
