Climate Aware

Science. Outreach. Equity

Gloucester, VA   |  www.climateaware.org

Mission

We are an organization made of S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, & mathematics) professionals dedicated to funding grassroots research and mentoring diverse future leaders. We aid in achieving a climate aware future through conducting and sharing research, engaging with local communities, diversifying the sciences, and providing opportunities for underrepresented groups. Our team cultivates interdisciplinary collaboration by creating a space for scientists to examine the world separate from self-interest groups and for-profit organizations. Climate Aware believes that all knowledge and information should be open-source, or free. Decentralizing S.T.E.M. is a fundamental tenet to mitigating the destructive nature of climate change.
