What we aim to solve
ATC is a Religious Organization, a Church, a Religious Center. The ATC is a global interfaith Wiccan fellowship ministering, worshiping, and working together for a brighter tomorrow. Since its founding in 1979 by the late Pete "Pathfinder" Davis, the ATC has been a welcoming environment for Wiccans and pagans of all traditions. Pete's activism was instrumental in the acceptance of Wicca by federal and state governments and taxing authorities as a legitimate religion, and the right to have the pentacle on veteran's headstones. He also founded the only Wiccan seminary sanctioned by the state to confer academic degrees in Wiccan Ministry. The ATC is committed to continuing the great work Pete started to improve the quality of spiritual lives for all people regardless of tradition.

What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
ATC has a variety of ministries, each with their own mission:
EDUCATE:
Spring Mysteries Festival: Since 1985, Aquarian Tabernacle Church has been continuing the Eleusinian Mysteries originally held in Ancient Greece. These mysteries, held every year in honor of Demeter and Persephone, explore universal concepts and truths from the perspective of the seeker of hidden knowledge. Our Priests and Priestesses spend 3-4 months preparing for the festival, working with the energies of the Gods and rehearsing the ritual drama that is presented over 4 days for hundreds of people each Easter Weekend.
Hekate's Sickle Festival: Hekate's Sickle is an annual exploration of the mysteries of the Goddess Hekate in all her forms. Overcoming the boundaries of death and change, we offer a sacred space for transcendent experience, the growth of lasting community, the perfection of love and trust.
Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary: The Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary, is a nonprofit college level, post-secondary educational institution. Established in 2000, WSTS is a public education facility for the ATC Mother Church. The school is based on British Traditional Wicca and esoteric studies. Faculty and staff focus on training professional clergy to serve the greater, growing Wiccan and Pagan communities. The Woolston-Steen Seminary trains competent pastoral counselors able to provide professional, religiously-based counseling, support and assistance.
Spiral Scouts Intl: The SpiralScouts™ International purpose is to provide opportunities for young people to fulfill their potential as caring responsible individuals through informal activities in a spiritual, open, and loving atmosphere that celebrates their diversity.
Wicca Press: Wicca Press is the Aquarian Tabernacle Church's in-house publishing/editing company. We print many books by pagan authors, maintaining spiritual integrity.
SUPPORT:
ATC, Intl has many affiliate congregations around the world and helps these organizations to organize within the Wiccan infrastructure. ATC Intl provides mentorship and resources.
Seattle Psychics Association: The Seattle Psychics Association (SPA) provides resources such as education, marketing, employment and networking opportunities for the Psychics, Readers and Metaphysical Body-workers of the Greater Seattle Community. We are a collective association of local, professional, alternative, practitioners who use intuition, spirituality and natural methods to guide and heal those seeking wisdom and wellness.
WORSHIP:
ATC Intl is home to a local, active coven which provides worship services and it currently provides online worship services.
EARTH STEWARDSHIP:
Save the Seeds Foundation: Save the Seeds Foundation strives to replant the earth with Heirloom seeds. We encourage the planting of flowers for pollinators, growing urban vegetable gardens, encouraging food forests, planting native plants and building healthy connections with our community.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
ATC Intl has a High Council who oversees the operations of this organization. The High Council is made up of clergy members from various affiliates around the country.
We constantly review all of our ministries to ensure we are meeting the needs of the Wiccan community. As long as we have an active attendance and donations to support our efforts, we know we are meeting our goals.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
ATC received tax-exempt status and a special designation as an umbrella organization with affiliates. Today ATC is a legally-recognized Wiccan religious organization in 5 countries with affiliate organizations in several more.
ATC facilitated the establishment of a worship ring of stones at the Washington Twin Rivers Correctional Center.
ATC established a scouting program for Pagan children in the Seattle-area. The response was overwhelming positive. By 2001, the program expanded nationally, becoming its own organization known as Spiral Scouts.
In 1998, ATC founded the Woolston-Steen Wiccan Theological Seminary, or the Wiccan Seminary, which has since received authorization from the Washington State Department of Higher Education to issue academic degrees. WSTS was granted the use of .edu - a domain restricted to US - accredited post secondary education institutions.
