Mission

Empower all Anacortes students through scholarships and enriched learning opportunities. We sponsor and host endowed scholarships for graduates of Anacortes High School. In addition we fund numerous enrichment programs in the Anacortes School District focusing on STEM enrichment, Early Learning scholarships and school supplies for needy families, summer learning programs, and mental health support.

College Scholarships

Our scholarships are endowed by gifts to the ASF. In 2020, we gave away more than $230,000 in scholarships.

The Impact summer learning program provides additional instruction to struggling elementary students, using low student-to-teacher ratios and experiential learning. The Credit Retrieval program provides instruction for high school students to recover class credit from a failed prior class.
