Land Conservation

Skagit Land Trust acquires land and conservation easements to protect natural areas for wildlife and people. The Trust also helps other groups protect important land. Skagit Land Trust has a strong philosophy and tradition of partnership with both landowners and other conservation agencies.

Population(s) Served

Skagit Land Trust owns and manages dozens of conservation areas throughout Skagit County. The Trust also holds voluntary permanent protection agreements with private landowners, cities, the County and State. The Trust engages volunteers of all ages to help restore and care for its conservation areas. Skagit Land Trust also helps other organizations manage their conservation lands.
