Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
The New International University
For 20 years, WIN has worked with academic institutions and global volunteers to provide both formal and informal education, training and skill development for leaders worldwide. Recognizing the need for affordable, quality education, WIN has launched an innovative university (The New International University - TNIU). The University has applied to the Washington Student Achievement Council for approval to award degrees. This initial step is for the purpose to actually begin teaching classes as a separate entity. TNIU is also currently seeking accreditation from an American accrediting association.
TNIU degrees provide theological, business and Christian education degrees that will equip students with operational, and personal skill sets for the most diverse range of world realities; from a call to and ministry with those in abject poverty, to a call to and ministry with those in the corridors of the powerful. Students in all programs will have the opportunity of interacting and earning credit at the other sites around the globe, thus providing them with the additional advantage of experiencing TNIU's unique geographic, cultural, and organizationally diverse relationships. In an age of globalization and internationalization we can no longer rely on the educational methods of the past to meet the needs of the ever-growing educational demands of today.
TNIU will be able to reach people who will not be able to access education through the existing channels and programs. Current statistics show only seven out of every one hundred people in the world have a college education. This means little opportunity and no possibility of upward mobility for millions of people all over the globe. It is in this environment of ignorance, suppression and persecution many times that wicked ideologies are allowed to flourish putting the lives of innocent civilians at risk.
