What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Yakima Tributaries Access and Habitat Program
Administer BPA and other funding for salmon recovery projects in the Yakima Basin. Work closely with our partners and landowners to prioritize, plan, and implement projects. We leverage more than 100% of BPA funding for project implementation. Projects replant stream banks, remove barriers, replace culverts, build fish ladders, and screen diversions.
Yakima Basin Clean Water Partnership
Working toward creating market based tools in the Yakima Basin for reaching water quality goals more cost efficiently and effectively.
Save Water Save Energy
This program works with agricultural producers and owners to help them identify and find cost share assistance with upgrades to their operations that will yield significant energy savings. We also work with BPA, utilities, NRCS, and other partners to better implement and report energy efficiency projects on farm.
Collaborative Projects Administration
We provide assistance in administering and facilitating conservation collaborations and their efforts. We work with such groups as the Tapash Sustainable Forests Collaborative, the So. Central Wa. Coordinated Weed Management Area, Salmon Safe, and the Connections Coalition to assist them in implementing their natural resource projects.
