Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
At Northwest Health Foundation, we know that health is more than healthcare. Health is a state of physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being, not just the absence of illness. We have a vision of health for everyone. We believe in health equity — that opportunities for health should be available and accessible to everyone — and we support the people, programs and policies that help us achieve a shared vision of better health and a brighter future.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
As a strategic, engaged and values-driven organization, our role in the community is to inspire and nurture efforts that have the capacity and potential to improve health for everyone. We accomplish this through three primary avenues: grantmaking, community building and advocacy, and in all our operations, we place transparency, credibility and accountability first and foremost.
To achieve our vision for health and establish a foundation for action, we are most effective when supporting the conditions for community organizations and members to develop common goals, and produce strategies and results that improve the lives of everyone.
