What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
For Military Personnel and their families we over Parent/Child interactive programs; after-school program for 2nd - 6th grade; Wounded Commrade Program; Fallen Hero Program; Family Assistance Program; Free Bread Friday; Free Donated Uniforms to Active Duty Personnel; Meet the Masters Art Program; Healthy Kids Day; Military Family Month; Holiday Program; Volunteer Opportunities.
Parent/ Child Interactive Programs
Parent/Child Interactive Programs are designed for children aged 6 month to 5 years old and their parent(s). The focus of the program is to provide age appropriate learning experiences for the child(ren) with thier parent(s) involved in the learning process. Activities include, but are not limited to storytime, games, learning stations, crafts, and playtime.
The programs also provide the parent(s) to meet, learn from, and socialize with other parents and their children. This is important to active duty families since most of the families come to Twentynine Palms from another location to live in this rural, desert community.
The program is unique in that it allows the parents to bring older and younger siblings to the program, therefore eliminating the need for childcare, and also visiting relatives are encouraged to attend.
