Program 1

The organization entered into a contract with the state of California to develop, administer and implement the dairy power production program. The applications received by the organization represent anaerobic digester projects with a total value of more than $27 million. The $10 million grant program is funded by the California energy commission. This program is designed to assist California dairy farmers with their electric bills while reducing the load on the state's electrical grid.
