What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Simulated Space Missions

Challenger Center and its global network of Challenger Learning Centers use space-themed simulated learning and role-playing strategies to help students bring their classroom studies to life and cultivate skills needed for future success, such as problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. We offer students the next best thing to actual space flight with a Mission Control room designed after NASA Johnson Space Center and an orbiting space station. The Missions’ Commander and Flight Director direct our mission specialists in the orientation room where they are given an overview of the mission as well as their crew assignments.
