Founded in 1981, Mobility International USA (MIUSA) is a disability-led non-profit organization headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, USA advancing disability rights and leadership globally.® By implementing innovative programs, we are building bridges to create a new era where people with disabilities will take their rightful place in the world community. MIUSA is a cross-disability organization serving people with a broad range of disabilities.

Increasing the participation of people with disabilities in all types of international exchange programs, a project by sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State. See more: http://www.miusa.org/our-work

Population(s) Served

Working in partnership with a consortium of three leading U.S. organizations to strengthen the implementation and enforcement of disability rights legislation and the U.N. Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at national and local levels in Armenia, Guatemala, Kenya, Mexico, Peru, and Vietnam. A project sponsored by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor of the U.S. Department of State.

Bringing together grassroots women leaders with disabilities from around the world, sponsored by Open Society Foundations, Channel Foundation, the Rotary Clubs of Eugene and Springfield, and others in the community.

Fostering successful international exchange experiences for FLEX and YES high school students with disabilities, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
