Mission

The purpose of the Oregon Coast Humane Society is to develop and further the welfare of animals; promote the education of children and the public generally in humane practices; conduct educational and training programs designed to teach the principles of humane treatment of animals; do any and all things necessary, reasonable, and proper for the prevention of cruelty to animals; promote the enactment and enforcement of laws for the prevention of cruelty to animals; and to assist any constituted authorities in the enforcement of all laws pertaining to cruelty to either human beings of animals.
